Deco believes Hansi Flick must adapt with different playing styles at Barcelona

Barcelona sporting director Deco was annoyed with Hansi Flick’s approach for their 4-4 draw against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinal, claims Barca Reservat.

He questioned the gaffer’s approach for that game after seeing the visitors go out with a draw despite being 4-1 down.

Deco remains a fan of the free-flowing attacking football Flick encourages, but feels that the coach must adapt with tweaking his playing style according to different scenarios.

While the director feels that Barca’s playing methods are perfect for the majority of opponents, he feels Flick must be flexible at changing things up against the tough opponents who can counter his side’s playing style and neutralize Barca’s attacking methods.

Well, Flick might’ve taken this into account as Barca scratched out a 1-0 win in the second leg by neutralizing Atleti’s attacking threat.
